HOME: Site Builder
A tool to create web pages for your site without programming

1. Website upload settings for Web Easy

Publishing with Web Easy:

Before publishing to the server, make sure that you've built the HTML pages. Open your design (if not already open) - "File", "Open", etc. Select "Build", "Web Site (HTML)". Make a note of the folder and package name for later use. After building the HTML pages, you are ready to publish. Select "Build", "Publish Assistant"

SETTINGS:

Profile: ?? (this should be the same as the package name that you noted above.)

Remote access:
--Hostname or IP address: www.yourdomain.com (substitute your domain name for "yourdomain.com")
--User identifier: Use the same username that you use to log in to your Account Manager
--User password: Use the same password that you use to log in to your Account Manager

General:
--Initial remote folder: /yourdomain-www (substitute your domain name for "yourdomain" -- Important: Use only the 1st part of the name [yourdomain] and not the last part [.com, .org, etc], and do include "-www")
--Initial local folder: C:\Program Files\ixla Web Easy Mil\Html (this should be the same folder that you noted above)
--Timeout (sec): 60
--IP Port: Default

WWW Site:
--World Wide Web site address: http://www.yourdomain.com (substitute your domain name for "yourdomain.com")
--Primary page: index.html

After publishing, you can use the File Manager in your hosting account's online Account Manager to browse your site and see the names and dates of the files that got uploaded and updated.

When you want to view your updated web pages with your browser, you may need to hit "Refresh" or "Reload" to get your browser to retrieve the updated pages from the server.

For further assistance in operating the Web Easy software, see the help files and tutorials that are available in the Web Easy program and the support area at the ixla website.
