PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), is a method of encryption that you can apply to scripts that run on your web site along with the e-mail you send through it.

PGP and PGPmail TROUBLESHOOTING

1) Copy and paste your PGP public key into the "PGP" section of your Account Manager.

2) At the bottom of the same screen, test send a PGPMail.

3) Go to https://www.metapros.net/demos/pgpmail/index.shtml with your browser.

4) Try the demo.

4) Go back to https://www.metapros.net/demos/pgpmail/index.shtml, and using the "Save As" function of your browser, save it as a file called pgpmailtest.html on your hard drive.

5) Edit pgpmailtest.html and change the values in the HTML hidden fields to suit your situation per the instructions shown in the "PGPMail section" of your Account Manager.

6) Put pgpmailtest.html in your www docs directory (/[yourdomain]-www). You can use your FTP software or the File Manager in your Account Manager to do this.

7) Bring up the form in your browser and try it out (http://www.[yourdomain.com]/pgpmailtest.html)

If it doesn't work, contact Support and give this information:
- Did the PGP mail test in step 2 work? If not, give us details.
- Send us your public key.
- What is your keyname?
- What is your hosting account username?
- What is the web address of your pgpmailtest.html file in step 6?
