- 4. How are previous years stats deleted? I don't need year 1999 stats any more and they are taking up disk space.
Accumulated stats do take up space in your disk quota. It is to your benefit to delete previous year's stats when they are no longer needed. Each year's stats are located in it's own directory (such as /yourdomain-www/stats/www1999/). You can try deleting the directory and it's contents, but you may not be able to do this if some of the files are "owned" by the server and not by you. In this case, contact Support and the directory will be cleared for you. When the year's directory is deleted, the year's stats will disappear from http-analyze on the following day.
